Le cinque ragazze capitanate da Nicole Scherzinger tentano di rifarsi dal mezzo flop del loro secondo album “Doll domination” con questa collaborazione insieme a Snoop Dog, intitolata “Bottle pop” . Nell’album d’esordio il feautering insieme al rapper aveva portato molta fortuna al gruppo, la canzone “Buttons” fece il botto negli USA e anche qui da noi.

Le due canzoni non sono nemmeno paragonabili: se infatti “Buttons” era pazza, inarrestabile e faceva venir voglia di ballare, questa è piuttosto insipida, direi strana, con delle sonorità quasi ricercate. Non è questo il modo per attaccare le radio e le classifiche! Ci vuole un pezzone forte, e devo dire che nell’album non ne mancano. Penso che tutto il progetto sia stato gestito in modo sbagliato, ed il flop non sia da imputare alle cinque, che comunque sono brave, promuovono tantissimo e sempre a discreti livelli!
