Insolito lavoro quello che Ronan Keating ci ha preparato ed intitolato “Songs for my mother” . Non per un nuovo genere musicale intrapreso, non per tematiche insolite nei testi. Ma semplicemente per il periodo dell’anno che questo progetto vede la luce. Infatti il nuovo album di Keating è una raccolta di ballate strappalacrime e nostalgiche dedicate alla madre del cantante che è venuta a mancare.

Sicuramente canzoni di grande effetto, molto nostalgiche e che Ronan con la sua voce e presenza riesce a rendere al meglio, ma dal punto di vista discografico e quindi delle vendite, aspetto che oggi non si può trascurare, quanto potrà funzionare? Ora che arriva l’estate chi potrà apprezzare una ballata cosi triste e introspettiva come “This is your song” scelta come primo singolo? Staremo a vedere, voi che ne pensate? Intanto gustatevi il video, molto commovente..
