I Cobra Starship sono una band pop-punk americana formatasi nel 2005 a New York, arrivata al terzo album; solo ora però i tre incominciano ad incontrare il grande successo di pubblico, grazie al primo singolo estratto da “Hot mess” , la collaborazione con Leighton Meester, la star di Gossip girl che ha recentemente iniziato anche la carriera da cantante.

Non male la canzone, la trovo frizzante e divertente, cosi come il video. La Meester, seppur non grande cantante, calza a pennello nella canzone, dice la sua a livello vocale (non deve fare cose difficili) e impersona alla grande il ruolo della ragazza diventata cattiva, come la canzone vuole dimostrare.
